Low voltage by design
Runs from a low-voltage 5V adapter, so there is no mains voltage anywhere near the bowl.
Safe around whiskers
The food hopper locks to the body on both sides, and the lid catch only releases when you pull both sides at once. Not something a determined paw can flip off.
Fed even when things fail
Battery backup keeps scheduled meals running through a power cut, and the app warns you when food runs low.
